Plextor Selects Nero as Its Digital Media Software for Its New PX-740A

Nero, leaders in digital media technologies, announced today that its award-winning digital media recording applications will now be bundled with Plextor's new multi-faceted DVD burner, the PX-740A. Nero and Plextor are perfectly matched as both offer a variety of features that allow the user to achieve any optical burning task, including large volumes of video and data recording.

The Plextor PX-740A drive is a DVD/CD burner that supports 8x DVD+R Double Layer, 4x DVD-R Dual Layer, 16X DVD+R, and 16X DVD-R Writing; 8X DVD+RW and 6X DVD-RW Rewriting; and 16X max DVD-Reading; as well as high-speed 48X CD-R Writing, 32X CD-RW Rewriting, and 48X max CD-Reading.

Nero includes Nero Vision Express 3, which offers advanced video capturing, encoding, slideshows and DVD/MPEG-2, SVCD, VCD authoring, Nero Express 6, the fast and friendly CD/DVD mastering software for data, audio or video; Nero Toolkit, the essential drive testing and speed control tool; InCD 4.2, a drag & drop packet writing application; Nero PhotoShow Express, photo management and editing application; and Nero Showtime, a video playback application.
