Sony Brings You Cinematic sound With New Sound Bars

Sony Brings You Cinematic sound With New Sound Bars

Consumer Electronics Mar 16,2015 0

Sony is bringing home entertainment to life with the release of the HT-CT780 and HT-CT380 Sound Bars along with the HT-XT100 TV Base Speaker. The low-profile HT-CT780 Sound Bar adds widescreen 2.1-channel audio to your TV viewing with less living room clutter. Delivering a 330W total output, the HT-CT780 packs plenty of power to match today’s plus-sized televisions with a screen size of 46" and upwards.

The device supports Sony's S-Force PRO Front Surround processing and features two-way speakers with dedicated tweeters plus a wireless sub-woofer.

You can instantly access music stored on your smartphone or tablet with One-touch listening via NFC and Bluetooth. Just touch your mobile briefly against the Sound Bar to start streaming that instant party soundtrack: the HT-CT780 can be controlled directly from your smartphone or tablet with Sony’s SongPal mobile app.

Three HDMI inputs allow hook-ups of all your HD input sources, with just one HDMI connection to the TV. Home entertainment fans will also welcome support for a wide range of HD audio codecs, while HDCP 2.2 pass-through allows full 4K streaming compatibility.

Designed for TVs up to 46" screen size, the HT-CT380 can also be mounted on a wall or shelf. This slim Sound Bar provides 300W of 2.1 channel surround sound, with S-Force PRO Front Surround and a wireless sub-woofer.

Just like the CT780, it features One-touch listening via NFC and Bluetooth, and can be controlled from your phone or tablet with the SongPal app.

Sitting right underneath your TV, the HT-XT100 TV Base Speaker adds extra oomph to movies with 80W of 2.1 channel sound, with bass from the integrated subwoofer. You can stream music from your smartphone with NFC and Bluetooth, or slip in a USB Memory Drive and play your favourite tunes.

Also joining Sony’s home cinema range are the HT-CT180 and HT-CT80 Sound Bars plus the HT-XT100 TV Base Speaker. All offer ease of use with Bluetooth and NFC connectivity.

The latest Sound Bar and TV Base Speaker additions to Sony’s home cinema line-up are on sale in Europe from Spring 2015.
