Why make a brand new product when the original one is already near-perfect? The designers and engineers at Logitech are probably wondering the same thing. When the Logitech G5 was released during the end of 2005, implementation of a high precision laser tracking engine, along with the tried-and-true shell, brought an exciting change to consumers looking for a high end pointing devices -- whether it's for office work, or for recreational purposes. However, APH Networks along with many users complained about the lack of a "Forward" button and the such. Fast forward a year and a half later to 2007, Logitech quietly modified its original G5 to the "2007" version (Striking resemblance on how cars are marketed), while retaining its original name. How much do we like this mouse? That, you will get to see. Let's examine the Logitech G5 V2, or Logitech G5 Rev. 2, or Logitech G5 2007, or whatever you might want to refer it as, today. Before we start, I would just like to add that I am extremely impressed. And I really mean that.

The Good Work Systems Fragpedal Elite gives your feet control during your favorite game. Our feet are the only part which we still do not use when sitting in front of the computer. The Fragpedal Elite give you four fully customizable buttons to use in any fashGon you would like. The included software with its own programming environment makes this possible. We give the pedals and the software a try, to see if it makes a good addition to your keyboard and mouse.

With a retail price of $71 CDN ($65 USD, 32 GBP), you really can't go wrong with the ECS AMD690GM-M2 motherboard. Based around the AMD 690G chipset, the motherboard is compatible with all Socket AM2 processors and with the recent price drops, you can potentially build a dual core workstation or multimedia machine for less than $500 CDN!

Gigabyte created an interesting 8600GTS, the GV-NX86S256H, with the use of Silent-Pipe3 fan-less heatink. To the best of my knowledge, it is the world's first silent 8600GTS, offering plenty of performance for those with 20" or smaller LCDs while doing so silently.

Notebook users have always been saddled with slow hard drives, all in the name of battery conservation. Even expensive, performance-grade notebook hard drives that spin at 7200 RPM cannot even come close to the performance of cheap desktop hard drives. That may change with the new Seagate Momentus 7200.2 hard drive. This hard drive boasts 60% greater capacity and 28.8% better sustained transfer rate than its predecessor. But that's not all. It even comes with an integrated free-fall sensor that greatly increases its survivability during accidental falls. Talk about combining performance with robustness.

The LOTIS PMO 12GB packs a punch when it comes to mass storage in a matchbox. Its price however might be a stumbling block to some.

There isn't a lot that's tremendously wrong with the Revoltec Fightmouse - it does the job of pointing and clicking fine enough - but the minor grievances do mount up. Sensitivity adjustment that is simply too slow to cycle through to be of any use, flimsy construction and a somewhat awkward shape kicked it back more than a single notch in our books. The software that comes bundled with the mouse is comprehensive and easy to use, but it's unfortunately let down by a product that tries to make up for what it lacks in quality by having a large quantity of features.

Zalman have always been at the forefront of silent computing with their CNPS mark; accreditation for the quietest components. Today I have one of their modular power supplies, the ZM500-HP, which features a heatpipe fed heatsink.

The test subject of this review is the Super Talent T1000UX2G5 - a 2GB kit with a matched pair of 1000MHz DDR2 memory modules. Super Talent isn't as well known as some of the more popular memory brands but they've been around for a while and have a pretty solid lineup of memory modules. This company is headquartered in San Jose, California and manufactures all its memory modules in the U.S. Super Talent holds over 100 patents on DRAM and Flash module design and manufacturing processes and all their memory modules feature a lifetime warranty.

Rarely do we see a huge innovation in CPU cooler design. I think that last big thing was heatpipes and those are in tons of CPU coolers now. Today we will be looking at the iCEAGE CPU cooler from 3RSYSTEM. It may look like your standard CPU cooler, but it features Direct Touch Heatpipe (DTH) technology. Instead of having heatpipes go into a heatsink base the heatpipes make up the base of the cooler. We will see how well this technology works and if it will make CPU coolers lighter in the future.

Today in Co operation with XSPC and www.watercoolingshop.com we take a look at XSPC's RS360 UV Blue. XSPC have released a whole new range of radiators (the RS series) and UV blue is an option across the range so those of you that seek a 120 or a 240 could still choose the UV if you wish.

When I unplugged the X1900XT from my system and plugged in the 8800 GTS 640 I knew a power supply chance was in my future since I could not even get a fan to spin. Thankfully, OCZ had sent over their largest power supply the 1000 watt rated GameXStream for us to review. This was impeccable timing since the second 8800 GTS that we ordered arrived the very same day. So come on along and check out the results of how well this power plant of a power supply performs.

Esthetics and appearance aside, these modules are pretty solid...okay, so they are extremely satisfying. You are basically getting the fastest binned memory from the manufacturer who makes the most important component in any other kit of memory rated at the same speed or higher. I am a bench marker and out-right performance is all that impresses me with memory. The 3-4-3 overclocking of this memory has me very impressed and I have had some good kits at those timings. the bonus with this kit is that it clocks at 5-5-5 as well as some of the PC2-9200 modules out there.
