please help me out with a remedy for this pcrw804 freeze up problem. every time i try to burn a cd i get the message "please insert a blank cd" when there is already one inside. i am running windows 95. thanks a lot.

Try using a download manager such as Flashget!!!
I have just downloaded it yet again and also one of my friends has and we had no problems at all so keep trying it is always a busy server !!!

Iam having a problem with pcrw804. most of the time i try to burn a audio cd form nero. it always frezzes up at 4%. it never did this before can anyone help?

I am having problems with my philips cdd4801 cd-r/rw drive for my presario...please bear with me as I'm not much of a computer expert...When I place a cd in the F: drive an orange light comes on and I can hear the cd spinning inside...however nothing happens...I cannot play a cd from the drive....from reading other posts it sounds like others have had the same problems....please help!!!!!

Can someone help me with my Philips CDD 4801 = PCRW804K
I am running it under windows 2000 pro - System recognizes the CDRW but when I try to open it doesn’t respond at all. I tried several flash programs but no success. Is there an answer?

I bought a PCRW804 about a year ago and its been working fine until the other day. The lights on it turned red(when I wasn't using it at the time) and the drive kicked out. I had to push the drive back in shut the flap and shut down for it to stay in. Do any of you know what's wrong with this thing? Thanks
