I've been reading forums everywhere about all this HD stuff. It sounds great, but the only thing really preventing me from getting into it is the money, of course. Right now I have a v4 NTSC PS2 with fliptop/swapmagic set up. I'm looking to buy the hd apparatus piece by piece, so to speak, and I'm wondering if that is really possible. Looking on ebay, I can get the network adapter pretty cheap. The real qiestion is the harddrive. I see whenever most people mention hd's they almost always say they have a maxtor 120 gb hd. I don't really need or feel like spending the dough on 120gb's, but can i just buy a hard drive made for a pc and set it up for my ps2? How does the hard drive connect to the ps2 and would i need to install drivers somehow or something? Thanks
