If a 22" or 24" LCD monitor doesn't provide enough screen real estate for you or you just want to go all out and find the best monitor without having a real budget, you'll more than likely end up looking at the 30" monitors that are available. There aren't many but Apple has a 30" Cinema Display and Dell also have a very popular 30" monitor, but there are also some from other manufacturers. A lot of CPU coolers are now coming out with the ability to cool not only the CPU, but the surrounding areas as well; the Cooler Master GeminII S is one of these. A standard 120mm fan is installed and keeps the CPU pretty cool, but purchasing an additional set of 80mm or 92mm fans can provide for an excellent board cooler as well. This is a great starter CPU cooler for those looking to get some pretty good cooling for a reasonable price. Read on further to find out more information.

With todays fast ram sticks the heat issue is what stops overclockers from going forward. Because of this we have seen a few manufacturers that made new heatsinks for their ram sticks. Thermaltake has another solution on the market, it's actually a ram cooler with a fan on it. Now I have seen Thermaltake make products like this in the past but they have never really hit the market so I am quite curious to see if this can actually perform so lets get this show on the road.

Swiftech has introduced a new flagship CPU water block, the Apogee GTZ. While it shares a similar monker of its predecessors, it promises to leap beyond the GT and GTX performance numbers. The new block sure looks great, but performance is King as we say, so today we'll find out if Swiftech has managed to succeed or succumb to its own marketing hype.

When A-DATA asked me to check out a couple of their newer flash products, I was a little reluctant to take them out in the field. They simply don?t have the name or the mindshare that a SANDISK or a LEXAR has when it comes to high performance and reliability. Also, you really can?t tell if a card will be good or bad simply by running a few benchmarks on it. You really need to try it in different cameras and use it. Basically, just beat on it in day to day use. Despite my hesitation, I have been using solely A-DATA memory cards for all my shooting needs over the last couple months, erasing, formatting, and punishing them just a little more than my highly trusted SANDISK Ultra II compact flash and SD cards.

To sum things up, the F2-8800CL5D-4GBPI is a good kit as long as you don't expect too much above stock speeds. However, with attractive heatspreaders and even more attractive prices of DDR2, this is a great kit to add 4 gigabytes of memory for very little dough.

Kingston is one of the big wigs when it comes to producing memory modules. Kingston HyperX memory modules have made some impressive strides; the DDR2 modules are amongst the highest quality out there. And with DDR3 showing clock frequencies up to the 2000MHz range now, Kingston is on the front line of clock power. Today Kingston enters the XMP market with the highest clocked XMP kit we have seen thus far, that being 1800MHz. Let?s see how it compares to our OCZ XMP 1600 modules.

We're writing to let you know that we have just posted a new article at HotHardware in which we evaluate the features and performance of three X48-based motherboards. The first motherboard comes from ASUS, and is a member of the gamer-oriented Republic of Gamers series, which we have taken a few looks at in the past. We've been mostly impressed by what they've offered in this series, and expect no less with the Rampage Formula. Next up is the X48T-A from ECS. We can honestly say that we haven't seen much from ECS in the past couple of years in the enthusiast segment, so we aren't exactly sure what to expect, but if early impressions mean anything, this "Black Series" board means business. Finally, following on the heels of their popular Bonetrail X38 board, Intel has sent along the DX48BT2, which, like the X48 chipset itself is more or less an update of the original. Three boards, three manufacturers, all shooting for the top spot in our round-up. Who will come out on top? Come on by and find out...
