Aspifix uses adaptec's aspi-layer 4.60(build:1210)
Force aspi uses also adaptec's aspi-layer 4.60(build:1210)
Why use Force Aspi??
=>you can completly remove your current aspi drivers(to remove probs)

Download Force Aspi 1.7 at: http://www.cyrus.troy.btinternet.co.uk/downloads/frcASPI17.zip
When you unzip the file I Recommand you:
1) Run the file: Killaspi.bat
2) Run the file: Instaspi.bat
3) THEN RESTART YOUR COMPUTER
4) After restart you have a working aspi layer, for 100%********************************************************************
I have tested this and it works fine: all os'es(Win95-98-Me-Nt-XP)
I have tested aspiFix, and that won't worked well under Win200, I can tell you!
Do never install a newer aspi-layer than 4.60, because this is the best, every single program support it, and no this aspi layer is not out-to-date, aspi4.71.2 uses winaspi 4.60 to (2 of the 4 files)
A very good site over aspi-layer is:
http://aspi.radified.com/ Everyone use ForceAspi it won't dissapoint you, do it acoording to my instructions between the stars and you be a happy man, damn yeh!!!!
Big thx to Force Aspi!
