Yes it is possible to store information for your pc on your ps2 hdd, using ftp clients will allow you to do this or you can convert the info to .iso and transfer it using winHIIP or hdl dumb.  However I can't imagine why you would do that, games take lots of space and you should try to keep it all allocated for games.

Hey; I have the new slimline PS2; I read as much as I could (11pages of this topic) and decided to just ask the question; forgive me if this has been asked repeatedly.

What are my options with the slimline PS2; I hear the USB extreme sucks. Will HDL Dumb work with USB extreme.
Are there any other options at all?

I had a modchip oon my original ps2 (network adatper w hd) and the drive is shot. NO CD's or DVD's. I'd be more than willing to repair it but no one wants to touch it because the tamper sticker is altered (sliced with razor in order to open ps2)

I'd appreciate any help on either of these two questions. Thanks guys.

Hi...new to the forums...just a quick question:
If I have a large HDD (like lets say 300gb since thats what it is :P) Can I just partition off 130 gb and have the rest on a second partition for storage of not ps2 games? I wanna make sure that this is possible before I get HD loader so I don't end up wasting the extra space.

hi there i currently have a modded ps2 ( older model) and was wondering what i will need to install a hdd and play off of it.
thanks in advanced

emperor -> RE: matrix infinity mc hd loadred prob (12/12/2005 4:13:51 AM)

@perdy, you need a network PS2 adapter, a HDD that works Ok with the network card and PS2 HD Loader (either the free or the paid version)

perdy -> RE: matrix infinity mc hd loadred prob (12/13/2005 12:04:27 AM)

thanks emperror,
i found the free one and was wondering is the retail version better??

emperor -> RE: matrix infinity mc hd loadred prob (12/13/2005 2:31:39 AM)

the free version supposed to be better than the paid one, extra features and higher compatibilty, but it needs some effort to make it work[:D]
