LG is reportedly working on a phone with a 6-inch flexible display, according to ZDNet Korea, while Samsung gets ready to release a flexible version of its Galaxy Note 3 Active.

The LG Z or Z1 smartphone will offer a concave design, ZDNet Asia said on Wednesday, citing "industry sources." The phone expected to launch later this month.

Samsung also said Wednesday that it plans to released a curved version of its Galaxy Note 3 Active next week.
