Sony announces CRX215E1 (48/24/48) CD-RW recorder


Sony posted today the specs of a new CD-RW drive witht the codename CRX215E1. The new recorder supports 48X writing, 24X re-writing, 48X reading, 2MB buffer and PoweBurn. As Sony says "...Sony ups the ante for high performance CD-R/RW burning again with its new 48X CD-RW drive. The CRX215A1 can create a full CD-R disc in less than 3 minutes or a full CD-RW disc in about 4 minutes, and features Power-Burn™ conformed* buffer ...". The price of the new drive is around $.90
