CyberDrive announces CW058D (32x/12x/48x)

CYBER DRIVE – one of the leading manufacturers of optical storage devices world-wide – presents in the beginning of this year the CD-RW drive CW058D. The device writes on CD-R’s with 32x Z-CLV technology, on CD-RW’s with 12x. Besides the CD-ROM reading speed of 48x max, the drive extracts audio data with up to 40x.

The CW058D supports all RAW modes as well as EFM (by software). The ExacLinkTM technology is used to avoid the so-called ”Buffer-Underrun”-error.

The latest CYBER DRIVE model is XP certified and has a Flash Memory inside. This makes updating the firmware by software very simple. The drive can be kept up-to-date easily by downloading new firmware versions from the support section on

All current formats like CD-DA, CD-ROM, CD-XA, Photo-CD and CD-Text are supported. The internal ATAPI device is equipped with a 2 MB Cache Buffer.

The retail kit includes Nero Burning ROM, InCD and the Nero Media Player as well as a CD-R, a CD-RW, one audio cable, mounting screws and a multilingual manual. The complete package will be available at 129 € including 16% VAT. (s.r.p.).
