Samsung Introduces Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition

Samsung has added to its 2-in-1 line up the Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition, a 2-in-1 device featuring a 12" Super AMOLED display, bundled full-size keyboard, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and Windows 10.

The Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition delivers productivity features available through the Windows 10 operating system. It is armed with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB Solid State Drive along with fast charging features - its battery can fully charge in as little as 2.5 hours and offers up to 10.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. For power-driven performance, the Galaxy TabPro S is equipped with a 6th generation Intel Core M processor, designed for a fanless 2-in-1 to deliver the slimmest profile.

This 2-in-1 tablet has the only Super AMOLED display (2160 x 1440) for Windows on the market and features a new gold finish that offers the sleek design. At a quarter inch thin and weighing only 1.53 pounds, the Galaxy TabPro S comes bundled with a full-size detachable keyboard and integrated touchpad. The keyboard’s flexible hinge enables dual-angle viewing. Moreover, the Pogo pin connector on the included keyboard eliminates the need for pairing or charging separately.

Samsung Flow enables connectivity between your Galaxy TabPro S and your Samsung Galaxy smartphone (Android Marshmallow OS 6.0 and higher) with just the touch of a finger. You can unlock your PC by tapping your unlocked Galaxy smartphone and scanning your fingerprint. You can enable your mobile hotspot to keep your PC connected, and check and reply directly to your phone's notifications.

Before using this service, you should have at least one fingerprint registered on your Galaxy phone, and pair the two devices via Bluetooth if you have not done so.

With the multiport accessory, you have the power to do more with the Galaxy TabPro S. The HDMI port enables your video presentations to come to life - even in 4K. Plus there are two USB ports-one for hooking up external hard drives, flash drives or other devices via the USB-A port, while the USB-C keeps you powered up by using Samsung’s fast charging technology.

The Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition is available in the U.S. starting at an MSRP of $999.99, at retailers including Best Buy and Samsung.com.
