New Pioneer HRM-5 and HRM-6 Studio Monitor Headphones For Producers

New Pioneer HRM-5 and HRM-6 Studio Monitor Headphones For Producers

Consumer Electronics Apr 6,2016 0

Pioneer DJ is expanding its range of professional studio monitor headphones with the launch of the HRM-5s and HRM-6s. Both models have a newly designed 40 mm driver unit, which reproduces frequencies up to 30 kHz (HRM-5) and 40 kHz (HRM-6), while the bass reflex chamber in the housing promises to give excellent bass response. The models also make for a comfortable fit thanks to a fully adjustable headband, memory foam ear pads, and pivoting housings. Plus, their folding design, detachable cables and carry case make the HRMs compact and portable.

The HRM-6s take it a step further with an HD driver and two-layer damping structure to deliver enhanced clarity, reduced resonance and fast bass response. They also feature flat ear pads to create a snug fit and improved sound insulation.

The HRM-5 and HRM-6 studio monitor headphones are available from June 2016, with a retail prices of $99.00 and $169.00, respectively.

HRM-6 AND HRM-5 HEADPHONES IN DETAIL

  • The HRM-6s feature a newly designed 40 mm HD driver unit with copper-clad aluminum wire (CCAW), which reproduces high-res audio between 5 Hz and 40 kHz - while the HRM-5s? 40 mm driver with lightweight CCAW has a frequency range of 5 Hz to 30 kHz. The HRM-6s have a maximum input of 2000 mW to reduce distortion even at high volumes.
  • Bass reflex chamber for accurate lows
The bass reflex chamber in the upper housing improves airflow for great bass response and sound insulation. A large rare-earth magnet ensures clean low to mid frequencies, while the HRM-6 has an aluminum, two-layer damping structure to reduce unwanted resonance.
  • Memory foam ear pads and adjustable fit
Both models come with a 1.2 m coiled cable (3 m when extended) and a 3 m straight cable. The HRM-6s also come with a 1.2 m straight cable for use on the move.
