Microsoft's most powerful versions yet of Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 are now on sale in the United States and Canada. The initial Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 configurations offered limited storage and memory options. The good news is that Microsoft's is now offering these products with 1TB of storage with 6th Generation Intel Core i7 processors and 16GB of RAM.

The high-end Surface Book also offers the discrete Nvidia graphics. But all that hardware doesn’t come cheap: The new Surface Book will set you back $3,200, while the beefiest Surface Pro 4 costs $2,700.

The new Surface Book will be available online-only via Microsoft Stores and other select retailers. The new Surface Pro 4 will be available in Microsoft stores and through select retailers.

Microsoft is also launching our new gold Surface Pen in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.

The new gold Surface Pen ($60) is a colorful complement to your Surface that’s also a tool for both creativity and productivity. When used with your Surface Book or Surface Pro 4, it offers 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity. The gold Surface Pen also includes the Surface Pen Tip Kit.
