HTC X9 Lauching After Lunar New Year holiday: report

HTC is expected to unveil its new mid-range HTC One X9 model and put the new device on store shelves after the Lunar New Year holiday in early February, according to technology website ePrice.

The holiday this year will fall between Feb. 6-14.

Last week, HTC revealed on its official Weibo page that it will launch the next generation of its mid-range model. While it did not disclose more details about the new device, there is market speculation that the new model will be the HTC One X9.

HTC said that the new model will be equipped with advanced photography functions.

According to an HTC One X9 test report, the new smartphone will feature the newest MediaTek processor -- the Helio X10 -- a 5.5-inch screen, a 13-megapixel rear camera and an UltraPixel front shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
