Yamaha CD-RW Info Site reviewed Prassi's PrimoCD Plus v1.1.319

"..New version of PrimoCD, a plus version, this is a retail version for the end user, and will be available soon after Comdex 2000. It's retail price will be $79.00 approx.

Because PrimoCD Plus is aimed at the end user, some of the features that the Pro version has have been removed, the option to use a "mix" of CD Recorder(s) has gone, also, you can only use two CD Recorders at any one time to make two CD's in one hit. These two CD Recorders need to be of the same model with the same firmware.

I have completed all the tests with this version, and I must say that it performs as well as the Pro version with audio files including CD TEXT (Yamaha CD Recorders excluded), wav & mp3, and video CD (MPEG1 files) and data.

The other thing I like is the addition of a wizard, this is the first thing you see when you run the application, and was so easy to follow, instructions are given in a box within the wizard. Once again, this software worked without problems on the Yamaha CD Recorders used for testing.

The other thing that was discovered was that we could see our in-house server and cut files to CD from it across the 100Mbit/sec network .."
