LG Releases External BDXL Burner


LG has released a new external BDXL writer named BP40NS20, available for $143.

The drive has a USB 2.0 interface and uses a 4MB of cache memory to deal with burning on BDXT TL, DL/SL discs at 4x ZCLV and 6x CAV, respectively.

The drive also supports burning on 8x on DVD-R/+R SL, 6X on DVD-R /+R DL, 5X on DVD-RAM and 24X on CD-R/RW.

As a bonus, the drive supports the LightScribe technology, which burns a label onto the back of the CD/DVD/BD.
