NVIDIA Releases New Geforce GTX 560 Ti With 448 CUDA Cores


NVIDIA is rolling out a special edition GPU, the GTX 560 Ti with 448 CUDA cores, available now for $289.

The graphics card's is running at 1.46GHz, it has a 732MHz graphics clock and 1.25GB of GDDR5 memory charging at an effective rate of 3.8GHz.

Other features include support for three-way SLI, DisplayPort, HDMI and DVI.

Nvidia's current GTX 560 Ti model is featuring 384 CUDA cores, while the higher-end GTX 570 packs 480. As a result, the new GTX 560 Ti 448 has slightly lower peak shader arithmetic and texture filtering rates. The GTX 560 Ti 448 is also just a little slower than the GTX 570. However, thanks to the architectural differences between the GF110 and GF114, the GTX 560 Ti is sometimes faster than the newcomer, especially in terms of texture filtering rates.
