Plextor M2S Series 6Gb/s SSD Available in Europe


Plextor has started rolling out the M2S series of SSDs in several European countries. The first quantity of the Plextor SSD is available now in the UK with Scan.

Last month Plextor introduced the M2S Series of SSDs featuring a SATA 6Gb/s interface. The SSDs boast sequential read speeds up to 480 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 330 MB/s. The SSDs are based on Marvell 88SS9174 control chips and are available in 3 different capacities: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

64 GB Up to 370 / 110 MBps (Read / Write)
128 GB Up to 420 / 210 MBps (Read / Write)
256 GB Up to 480 / 330 MBps (Read / Write)

The Plextor SSD M2S Series is directly available in the UK with Scan. Recommended end user prices, including VAT, for the M2S series are:

PX-256M2S, 256 GB, 559 EURO
PX-128M2S, 128 GB, 279 EURO
PX-64M2S, 64 GB, 159 EURO
