LG has just released the BE12LU30 external 12x Blu-ray disc burner for PCs in S. Korea. The BE12LU30 supports the Blu-ray 3D format.
The external BE12LU30 drive connects Via eSATA and USB 2.0 interfaces, supports LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling technology, 12X BD-R read and write, max. 16X DVD±R write speed and has 4MB Buffer as well as under-run prevention function.
The drive supports 2D to 3D conversion capabilities (MPEG 2, MPEG4 AVC (H.264), VC-1, WMV, MKV, DivX)as well as DVD upscaling to Full HD resolution.
