Mitsubishi To Release 3-D TVs Next Month

Mitsubishi Electric said Monday the firm will begin selling 3-D compatible televisions this summer.

Mitsubishi plans to introduce products taking advantage of its distinctive technology, meaning that the company will not pursue a large-scale business.

Mitsubishi Electric's TV operations had been sluggish, but returned to the black in the year through March 2010, thanks to strong sales of a video recorder that combines a Blu-ray disc and a hard disk.
