Intel Takes Down New TRIM Firmware For SSDs


Intel's latest firmware for its SSDs was made unavailable today by the company duw to issues related to the Windows 7 operating system

The new firmare Ver.02HA for Intel's X25-M Mainstream SATA SSDs had been released yesterday.

"Intel has been contacted by users with issues with the 02HA firmware upgrade on Windows 7 systems and are investigating. We take all sightings and issues seriously and are working toward resolution. We have temporarily taken down the firmware update while we investigate,' reads Intel's announcement.
