LG brings in Euroipe the company's latest 8x BD burner (LG BH08LS) as well as the LG CH08LS, drive that combines the advantages of a BD player and DVD burner.

Both drives will begin shipping in Europe this month. LG will also offer an external verision of the LG CH08LS SATA drive, the BE08LU, next month.

The new LG CH08LS is compatible with the latest Blu-ray technology and reads all current Blu-ray formats. In addition, the device burns SL and DL DVD media as well as CD-R /RW and burning and DVD-RAM.

The BH08LS Blu-ray burner supports all the formats and burns on BD-R media at 8x speed.

Both devices are also supporting the the latest LightScribe technology.

The CH08LS combo drive CH08LS will be available in Europe this momnth for €99 (recommended retail price). The Blu-ray burner BH08LS will be also available at the same time for €199.
