AudioDev Launches CATS DVD 4x Analyzer

AudioDev announced the release of a 4x CATS DVD analyzer - CATS D400 DVD 4x.

The optical drive is designed for AudioDev by Toptica Photonics AG. All optical, mechanical and electronic specifications are kept 100% according to the standards. All measurements are performed at 4x speed; Servo signals, Jitter, HF and Error Correction.

The CATS D400 DVD 4x analyzer uses a similar system platform as AudioDev's blue laser analyzers, giving it the same benefits in terms of minimum footprint, network possibilities and much more. Although the system platform is new, the user interface and operating procedures remains familiar to all CATS users.

CATS D400 DVD 4x is based on a new test solution, originally designed for quality control of game discs for the Xbox 360's video game system from Microsoft

The CATS D400 DVD 4x will be shown at the upcoming MediaTech exhibition in Frankfurt, May 30 - June 1st.
