External DVD Multi DVD Recorder for Windows XP x64 by Panasonic


Panasonic will launch late November the LF-M860JD external DVD multi recorder. The drive will be compatible with Windows 2000/XP/x64 Edition.

Based on the internal model LF-M821JD put on the market in July, the new USB 2.0 drive supports reading and writing on catrtridged DVD-RAM media. Its specifications include 5x write for DVD-RAM, 16x for DVD±R 16, 4x for DVD±R DL, 8x for DVD+RW, 6x for DVD-RW, 40x for CD-R and 24x for CD-RW media.



The LF-M860JD will be available in the Japanese market and its retail package will include Cyberlink's DVD-MovieAlbum SE 4.1 for VR video editing for DVD-RAM, PowerProducer 3 for video editing (CPRM supported), PowerDVD 6 for DVD play back and B's Recorder GOLD8 BASIC for CD recording.
