Sony Recalls 60,000 AC Adapters for PS2

Sony said it will recall about 60,000 AC adapters used for its PlayStation 2 console because they may get overheated leading to damage or a fire.

The AC adapters to be recalled are those made from August to December 2004, it said.

So far up to 40 complaints about overheating or damage to the AC adapter have been lodged by customers in North America, it said.
