MSI introduced the cost-effective SLI NX6600LE-TD256E and the high-end GeForce NX7800GT-VT2D256E graphics cards.

MSI NX6600LE-TD256E

MSI NX6600LE-TD256E is member of the popular GeForce 6 family, which is tailored for the mainstream graphics market.

The card supports the NVIDIA CineFX 3.0 engine can double the floating-point pixel shader power of previous generation GPUs. In addition the card supports high-speed GDDR memory to deliver fluid frame rates for even the most advanced games and applications.

MSI NX6600LE-TD256E has also a new generation ultra speed architecture - PCI-Express-16x with 4 GB/sec data transferring rate, and almost 200% jump from 2.1 GB/sec AGP of other interfaces. With the latest NVIDIA ULTRASHADOW II TECHNOLOGY, MSI NX7800GTX Series accelerates shadow volumes for next generation games, while accurately maintains shadows and discarding non-useful information.

MSI NX7800GT-VT2D256E

The latest graphics card based on Nvidia's Geforce 7800GT design. Although the specifications of the NX7800GT-VT2D256E are nevertheless known, let's summurize its basic features:

- 20 Pixel-Pipeline and D.O.T. Express for maximum overclocking possibilities
- Powered by the fourth-generation NVIDIA CineFX 4.0 engine
- 1000MHz DDR3 memory processing
- Core speed of 400 MHz
- Onboard functions: TV-out, dual DVI, VIVO, and HDTV connectors

MSI D.O.T. Express and SLI Technology maximize the overclocking possibility of MSI NX7800GT-VT2D256E graphics cards, enabling the synchronized GPU and DDR overclocking performance up to 10% improvement by 6-level setting

MSI NX7800GT-VT2D256E also introduces NVIDIA Intellisample 4.0 - the high-resolution compression technology. Intellisample 4.0 includes an advanced anisotropic engine designed to deliver true anisotropic filtering for high image quality without performance degradation.

In addition, the advanced pixel shaders in the new CineFX 4.0 engine deliver up to double the floating-point pixel shader power of previous-generation GPUs, allowing for faster, more efficient execution of even the most complex pixel shading tasks.

With the latest NVIDIA ULTRASHADOWTM II TECHNOLOGY, MSI NX7800GT Series accelerates shadow volumes for next generation games, while accurately maintains shadows and discarding non-useful information.

Bundled with the card, MSI offers the game "The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay"
