Pioneer DVR-110 Specifications


Scheduled to hit the market late July, the next dual-layer DVD recorder from Pioneer supports 8x DVD+R/-R DL and 16x DVD+R/-R recording.

  • 16X CAV DVD-ROM (Single Layer)
  • 12X CAV DVD-ROM (Dual Layer), DVD-R / +R
  • 8X CAV DVD-RW / +RW, DVD-R DL and +R DL
  • 5X Zone CLV DVD-RAM
  • 40X CAV CD-ROM and CD-R
  • 32X CAV CD-RW

Buffer Memory Size: 2Mbyte

Unlike to the expectations of most hardware fans, the specifications of the new DVR-110 do not include support for Blu-ray. Pioneer continues its developments of a Blu-ray drive looking at an August timeframe for introduction. However, any progress in the format unification issue could make the company change its developing plans.
