Sharp enters digital portable music player market


Sharp Corp said it will launch digital portable music players on April 15 in a bid to take a 15% share of the Japanese market in one year.

The card-shaped, breast pocket-sized players can record music from personal computers, CD players, radio receivers and Internet music distribution sites, Sharp said.
