Taiwan market: Second-tier brands lower prices of 16x DVD burners


Second-tier Taiwan makers of optical drives lowered their retail prices of 16x DVD Dual DL burners as low as NT$2,990 (US$90) last week, according to local retail channels.

Lite-On IT, BenQ and Asustek Computer, the top three local brands, did not reduce their retail prices for 16x DVD Dual DL burners
