Olympus Master 1.0 software to be supplied with Olympus cameras


As from 10/2004, the bandled software will create albums, slide shows and panoramas and even update your Oly's firmware via the www.

The new Olympus Master 1.0 software makes light work of managing multiple images and movie clips. Features such as editing functions, multiple viewing options and online camera firmware updates are all available in a simple user-friendly format. Olympus Master 1.0 will be included with all Olympus cameras shipped from October 2004. The updated Plus version will be available via the internet at the same time. Features include: Trouble-free, direct file transfer from camera Easy organisation of files by keyword, album, time or icon Image editing (incl. RAW image development), slideshow and movie viewing functions Auto-panorama capability Attach to e-mail function The Olympus Master Plus 1.0 version also offers a host of innovative additional capabilities such as movie editing and CD/DVD burning facilities. With Olympus Master 1.0, photo and video file management is simple. The right images or videos are indexed according to keywords, albums, or icon. The calendar function makes things even more straightforward, with pictures retrieved directly from a time bar on the screen and organised by date. The Olympus Master Plus 1.0 software goes a step further, with extended performance. Expert users will enjoy movie editing functionality (including rotation, cutting, sound editing, cover page creation and filters), plus the facility to burn files to CD and DVD. Also featured are additional viewing options and the capability to download templates from the internet.
