Hi To Everyone

I am very new to firmware updates. I have a Optorite DDO405 (8X DVD+RW/-RW).

I have been told I can upgrade the software to burn dual layer discs.

Is it possible, and how can I do it? All help will be truly appreciated.

I am not sure that this can been done. I read about region free firmware but not for DL.

You cannot upgrade DD405 to burn DL media...

Whoever told you you can upgrade the software to burn dual layer discs told you wrong as it can't be done !!!
