sorry guys in case my thread is offtopic. dunno where to go with my question.
the question is - Original WinXP Cd-Rom driver is the only one option for users,
or is there a place i can find a proper driver for my drives? with some improvements in reading/writting or smthng like that?

oh thanks for so fast reply.
to be honest Plextor (i own a drive of this manufacturer) does not provide those ASPI drivers as far as i know...
unfortunatelly, i cannot follow your link (mp3 expression is banned for me at work:)
please tell me the drivers ASPI on http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Software/Home.aspx?CategoryId=4
are the ones i should have?

4.60 is as Minos stated above, the most stable, please avoid anything higher! Laffin has been kind enough to supply us an "all in one" sort of fix/update program, that you can download, check, and install if necessary, or also correct problems. All you have to do is first, download it, second, read and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS exactally, and you'll be in business in no time at all. You can download it below:
