I found at Microsoft the following:

"When you try to use Internet Explorer version 4.0 with Internet Explorer Service Pack 1 installed to access a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or Gopher site, Internet Explorer may stop responding (hang). Also, you may receive an error message similar to the following error message:
Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site Web address. Overlapped I/O operation is in progress." To find the problem you should know the error code. However most times is an Interner Explorer issue.

Normaly this error should reported in the event viewer, so get the Event ID  and go to www.eventid.net to check it.

That is a very interesting thread. Thank you Antonio    I was able to back up the main movie with Nero Recode 2, so the kids have their movie and I have peace of mind. It's all GOOD!
