I've just installed Nero 7 a few days ago. When I run anything that calls Burning Rom it shows the splash screen then fails with unexpected Error message ie... Do you want to send it to Microsoft.  This happens no matter how I try and launch it.  Start, nero 7, Audio, Burning Rom etc...

I've tried running the repair option, no luck.  I've even removed the software and re-installed.  No luck.

My system is brand new. 
AMD 64x2 4400+ with 4Gig of memory.  4 drives.  3 SATA 80Gig, 120 Gig, 160Gig and an older 80Gig IDE.

I gave up trying to use my TSID #, I was on hold with Nero for 25 minutes when the line was dropped.  Called back and just get the automated run-a-round.  Think they may have closed for the night.  Sent another email via the VIP form, but message there said 6 - 8 days for turnaround??????  Yikes.....

Did you install InCD?  If so, remove it.  It is the devils child...

Okay - What software do you have on this beast and what is your motherboard?  Details are important.

You might try re-downloading the program and re-installing WITHOUT InCD... Might be a corrupt image.

Just a few things to start with before I call it a night... rough day at the office today.  This forum is great for getting my mind off the corporate bullsh** I deal with every day.... ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!

Also make sure to download the latest version of Nero 7, there is already an updated one.

I downloaded the latest version and Burning Rom works now.  I had looked at this earlier but the install wizard says Installing Demo version.  So I didn't continue with it last time.   Even though it say's demo (small bug on Nero's part I guess) the install worked okay and it found my serial number.  All seems okay now.

It "always" says Demo until you activate it with your Serial Number.
