74~78 is too high, What about your room's temprature?

I read in a review of cdrinfo about the p5ld2 that some issues it has with pcprobe and reported tempratures which might be the chipset so even with SpeedFan its the same.

I didnt understand that part ...

its not 100% sure, its just my opinion.[:)] but the temp is high, this for sure.[:D]

yeah but some white thing I got with that fan .. :(
and I dont even think I put it the right way :(
maybe I will go to a pc store and get the original intel fan and heatsink ..

Antonio -> RE: CPU Temp. Issue :( (11/17/2005 2:53:47 PM)

When I got my water cooling I install it, everything perfect, but the temprature over 70 degrees. I couldn't think what I did wrong. Finally I found out that I had forgotten to remove the slim sticker which protect the copper base from scratches.[:D][:D][:D] How stupid I was...btw don't tell anybody...[:D]LOL[:D]

Don't get the stock cooler, its not too good as an Arctic-Cooling while both have exactly the same installation procedure.[;)]

I will get some arctic silver 5 .. and a better fan ..
add 2 more fan holes on my case .. add more fans .. replace generic fans .. I will make my case to be like a fridge :) ha ha ..
and I will go to a store so they will put the thermal paste on the cpu :) and put on the cpu heatsink and fan on :)

Antonio -> RE: CPU Temp. Issue :( (11/17/2005 3:07:42 PM)

before any expenses just try the thermal paste and the installation to be correct.[:)]

dont know :(
I sux with paste and liquids :(
I affraid I burn something or .. get the cpu fried .. or damange it :(

Antonio -> RE: CPU Temp. Issue :( (11/17/2005 3:14:23 PM)

its not difficult. Clean the cooler's base and the cpu from any other paste and put not too much, then apply it all over the cpu but not too close to the edges, there will go with the pressure of the cooler.[:)]

well I will try ..
but I need to get better paste .. and .. well .. buy new fan .. this fan  I will use on the upper side of the case ..
I will add 2 holes :) yay .. :)

SiliconFreak -> RE: CPU Temp. Issue :( (11/17/2005 3:18:15 PM)

me again...[:)]

Sorry i missed those 2 pics before...maybe because you just uploaded them and forgot to embed them into post...[;)]

Anyway...i checked...and 70+ surely is not ok...also m/b @ 50 degrees is way too much....so all that makes me believe that something is wrong here...because cpu temp could go so high theoretically(or even practically in your case if those sensors are ok)...but m/b temp goes up maybe 5 or 10 degrees max! Really dont know...i believe its some issue with bios or something like this...or sensor problem...dont know....[&:]

I attached my picture you wanted....my m/b is older than yours so it doesnt have much settings there...check them out and see if they could be of some help to you....[;)]

I've got big mitts, and I'll say it was not that hard to work with Arctic Silver paste even with my large hands.  And this was on an Athlon XP 2800+ that you had to be more careful with.  Today's CPU's are easier to work with.

Antonio -> RE: CPU Temp. Issue :( (11/17/2005 3:19:05 PM)

One fan to blow in, at the front, and one at the back to blow out is just ok. If you have 80mm fans then you can have two and two but if they are 120mm one and one are OK.
