umm, if you wanna play it a little risky, and if you're already considering formatting your drive ANYWAYS, why not do a little registry adjustment? use regedit (or your favourite registry editing program) and search your registry for all mentions of the work insektors. Or if it has any other key words or files, search for them as well, and then just delete them. Follow up by running system mechanic on your registry in case something was messed up by mistake, and hopefully you will have fixed the problem. Another idea is booting of the win2000 CD and doing a repair OS command. Good Luck!
