Geez, what a piece of crap this drive is....I bought it in '99, and almost immediately it became out of date...It take 40+ minutes to burn 700 megs...
I'm looking for a firmware or even a hardware overclock to make this thing go faster...

Any info would or suggestions would be helpfull and appreciated (willing to try just about anything....it's almost useless to me as it is now)...
