World's Fastest 20-inch Wide Screen LCD Monitor

World's Fastest 20-inch Wide Screen LCD Monitor

Consumer Electronics Sep 14,2005 0

BenQ claims the world's fastest 20-inch wide-screen FP202W LCD monitor, featuring a 8ms response time, and we have no reason not to believe it. The BenQ FP202W offers enhanced image quality with its ultra-fast 8ms response time, a 1680x1050 high resolution, as well as a 600:1 contrast ratio. The featured wide-screen design of 43cm in screen width allows the user to display and comfortably read two pages of text side-by-side. At the same time, this format preserves the display of content such as DVD movies and games in their original format without cropping or compression.

The new monitor also features a narrow bezel designed to save space when placed on a desk or table, and also keeps the focus on the content displayed on-screen.

The BenQ FP202W features BenQ's proprietary "Senseye" digital-enhancement technology that automatically and dynamically improves image quality, adjusts brightness and darkness levels, performs color mapping procedures, and reduces jagged edges on images. Senseye uses the YUV Domain Engine to handle brightness(Y) and color (UV) separately and allows you do adjust color to your preference without any aberration. Senseye also keeps images clear and sharp by processing still and moving images separately and eliminating all source signal noise out.

The BenQ FP202W will be available worldwide in Q4 2005.
