If you've ever wanted to look as geeky as humanly possible, Zalman has come to the rescue. The Zalman ZM-RS6F USB Headphones are not only freaking awesome, but they are huge and simply using them screams "nerd alert!" at any LAN party or plane ride. The Zalman USB headphones are some of the best you can buy for your gaming or video-watching pleasure. The surround sound that the headphones provide while watching DVDs is pretty good when compared to the best home sound system set-up. Not to mention, you can have the same quality of sound while listening your coveted WOW character cyber, or while enjoying a little Beethoven from your iTunes.

Despite a couple minor shortcomings, the ZM-RS6F remains a decent contender for those in the market for a set of surround sound headphones. The USB connector and sound card allow for a convenient setup especially for laptop gaming. The surround sound quality is good and after gaming with these, it will be difficult to go back to a pair of standard headphones.

It seems everyone in the technology industry is branching out into new areas nowadays; in fact it is hard to think of one major company who specialises in a single product type. Zalman have been known for some time now as specialists in PC cooling but have more recently been releasing PSUs and cases. Some of you might not know they also are delving into headsets and today we will be looking at two of these products. The first is a USB 5.1 headset which does not require a 5.1 soundcard in the PC, or a soundcard in the system at all for that matter. Secondly we have a stereo headset which is aimed at MP3 player owners who need that little extra bit of quality over the bundled earphones.

Zalman's latest ZM-RS6F USB headphones are based on a C-Media USB sound card and a 5.1 capable headset that can do real surround sound. The whole unit has been built to deliver a maximum of comfort while still being rugged and easy to transport. Another plus is that it is quite affordable when compared to other solutions with similar features.

Although it wasn't long ago we had a look at a pair of Zalman headphones, we've already got a new pair for you to check out. Well, new isn't entirely the truth, as the ZM-RS6Fs arn't new, they've been around for a few years now. What Zalman has done to refresh them is to integrate a USB sound card and add a USB connector on the end of the cable.

Zalman has been around for ages, and their sound quality is known to gamers all around the Globe. They don't have many sound products, but the ones they do are top of the line. Let's see how their Theatre 6 headphones do to tide my thirst of explosions at 4am in the morning.... ;-)
