This will be my third Apevia/Aspire case. Besides the X-Dreamer II, which I used for the better part of a year, I had an X-Plorer that I used for at least a year, a long time for someone who gets as many cases as I do. So I am familiar with Apevia cases, and expect the X-Telstar to be a mid-priced, fairly well built and finished, pre-modded case with a few interesting features. Read on to see if it meets my expectations.

Apevia has impressed us with the aesthetics and features of the X-Telstar, but the cooling performance can be a drawback to buyers. The X-Telstar has all of the features you would expect from a top notch professional case; security locks, drive rails, motherboard tray and side panel window.

Today I'm reviewing the Apevia X-Telstar Black Aluminum Mid-Tower ATX Case. You might know Apevia from their many other products or particularly their very nice X-Navigator cases. The X-Telstar's prominent features are: large see-through side window panel; and a front LCD display; twelve drive bays; solid aluminum chassis; and three 120mm (large) fans. It is marketed as a gaming case however I'm sure you could load up Photoshop or a web browser up if your computer was inside, too. I wouldn't go so far as to say that any accounting or legal/law related programs would open on a computer in this case.

If you look around some of your favorite online retailers you will see a listing for the Apevia X-Telstar case. The X-Telstar sports a large see-thru side panel and circular display that gives you all the details on what is going on inside the case. The light aluminum construction is a big bonus as well. Apevia has never been a big fan of the industry standard beige casing. This is Apevia newest case to market, but will it be as popular with us as the newest Q-Pack we reviewed a few weeks ago?
