The Apevia X-QPack 2 is the successor of the original X-QPack. Notable changes include the full size 500W power supply by placing a slightly longer front cover unto the chassis. A 8 cm fan has been added in the front of the case to actively cool your memory. Apevia also added a few more colors and one with a camouflage design.

So you want to go to your LAN party but really can't be bothered to hump around your humongous PC case weighing in at more than a man can carry? Well, Apevia (formerly Aspire) feel your pain and have come up with a new version of their LANer's case the X-QPack wisely named X-QPack 2. With an all aluminium chassis and a steel carrying handle, it should be your perfect partner to your next geek-fest. Let's have a look how it performs.

Today we look at the revised X-Qpack case from Apevia and focus upon the changes from the earlier version. Come have a look and see what is new. It doesn't seem like it was two years ago that I reviewed the Aspire X-Qpack case here at BE. Time flies, change is inevitable, Aspire is now Apevia, and the X-Qpack Version 2 is upon us. But as the saying goes, the more things change the more they stay the same - is the X-Qpack Version II much different than its predecessor? Before you continue with this review, please go back and read my review on the version 1. There are enough similarities between the two cases that writing a full review on this latest evolution of the X-Qpack would be a bit counter productive, so this review will only highlight the differences between the two versions.

Just about one year ago, we had the pleasure of reviewing the Aspire X-QPack Micro-ATX enclosure and it scored high marks in our review. Here it is one year later and we have the pleasure of reviewing the new X-QPack 2 from Apevia, yes you're right they have changed the name of their company, but not the quality of their products. So come on along as we look at this newest version and see if it does as well as it's predecessor.

Apevia's small form factor X-QPack line gets a refresh with the X-QPack2, adding better cooling, a bigger power supply, and more room to work with. Are the changes enough to remain competitive in an increasingly crowded SFF arena?

The X-QPack 2 small form factor mATX case from Apevia is the company's latest chassis offering. Apevia is the new name for Aspire International, which was known for its X-Dreamer and X-Infinity series of cases, as well as fans and other accessories. This review checks out the X-QPack 2, which is the new version of the original X-QPack case. It features a new design, better power supply, and ever more style than the original X-QPACK. Let's take a look!

As good as the case may be, it's not 100% perfect. There's still the little QA/QC issue identified with the window that nags in the back of my mind. If you went with the windowless model, then you're home free. Aspects like the removable motherboard tray, carrying case and multiple storage capabilities make it a wonderful little case that should be on your list to consider for mATX machines.

Well, with the X-QPack2 of course. The new and improve SFF from Aspire sports pretty much everything the older unit does but adds a little bit more. 'In what way?' you may ask. Well, lets start with a more powerful power supply and better cooling. And this is just a start. Is the new version the SFF case that can replace your tall tower style unit? Check out the article.
