The competition between ATI and NVIDIA is fierce; it's definitely a buyers market in video cards these days. New chips are coming out every six months and they're almost always running more transistors, faster. There's a fair chance that the hottest and noisiest component inside your PC is the video card. The Zalman VF900-CU LED has performed as it says on the tin, even at it's lowest speed it still out performs the Stock cooler by 3 - 5c, add to that at low speed it is almost in audible and you have a great cooler that works Xtremely well (excuse the pun).

Just like its predecessor, the VF900-Cu performs extremely well while keeping things silent. Built with impeccable quality and craftsmanship, not to mention innovation, Zalman has once again created one awesome cooler. Unlike other manufacturers, Zalman has made no compromises with the copper base and not one, but two, heatpipes! Not only that, they have included memory heatsinks and even the FanMate 2 fan controller...

Zalman has a real winner in the VF900-Cu. It brings it all to the table, with its excellent performance, quiet operation and ease of installation. The fit and finish is outstanding and it weighs less than the stock solution that came with my card. As the VF900-Cu is still new to the marketplace, its availability and price point can't be ascertained with any degree of reliability at this time. At $50, this is not a cheap cooling system, but its performance goes a long way toward making the VF900-Cu a good value...
