Remember back during the days of XP mobile processor overclocking, when it was necessary to have a high spinning fan like a Delta or equivalent. Yes, those days are far behind us now. Today we don't have to pump loads of voltage in our processors nor do have to resort to using loud 80mm case fan. Today, we have larger 120mm, slower spinning, noiseless and high CFM fans. Sharkoon came up with a new silent solution when it comes to fans, namely the Silent Eagle range. The Silent Eagle comes in 2 different versions, the Eagle 1000 and Eagle 2000 where the number stands for the rotation speed of the propeller. So what is so exciting about this new Silent Eagle 2000 and is it actually any different from many other silent fans on the market? Up for review today is Sharkoon's new Silent Eagle 2000 Fan. What is the fancy name all about and how is this "silent" fan different from many other silent fans on the market? In a word... dimples. The Silent Eagle line of fans from Sharkoon feature a new fan-blade design similar to that of a golf ball. Let's see if this new fan design really makes a difference...
