Antec is not afraid to show its design prowess and incredible attention to detail when it markets a new case to enthusiasts. The established hardware supplier continually wows builders with stunning designs and convenient amenities built into its cases. The Antec Nine Hundred is no exception. Its dark and grilled appearance, along with its incredible size and cooling potential, make the case simply exude awesomeness. However, looks aren't everything-this case is missing some conveniences, an omission that may cost it top marks. Read on for the review.

The case has an industrial feel that reminds me somewhat of the early Cooler Master Stacker. No silly doors to annoy, but nine grilled blanking plates. The top plate is obviously designed for an optical drive, while the two below are covered in acoustic dampening, but if removed, you can fit another two optical drives.

With this case we think Antec has outdone themselves again. When they released the P180, I figured that they had one of the best functional and best looking cases released in the past few years. The clean look and the external arrangement was definitely a keeper. But after seeing the Nine Hundred on the Antec site, it was one I had to get and review for our readers. Does the Nine Hundred live up to my self imposed hype? Are we just harping on about an otherwise normal, boring case?
