Enter E-Power, a company that has been around since 1990 but is not one of the big contenders. This company has a goal of creating high quality at an affordable price, and today we will take a peek at one of their moderate level power supplies to see if they have managed to pull this off. While the power port and toggle switch appear pretty normal, there is an added port on this unit that resembles a PCI-E plug. Though that is not what it really is, it does add to the feature list and is where they get the "3-in-1" label. Let's take a quick look at what plugs into this port and then we will see what we have.

Next to video, sound is probably one of the most important aspects of a PC. And if sound is important to you, it should be of decent quality too. Today I'll be looking at the Logitech Z Cin?ma Advanced Surround Sound System. Although not a true surround sound setup, which typically include six, seven or more speakers laid out in a circle around the listener, this is a 2.1 setup, with two satellite speakers comprised of dual mids and tweeters, and a single high-power subwoofer for the bass.

Better bass than most and at a price that isn't too exorbitant for its class of audio fidelity. That's what you'll get from the Audio Technica ATH-CK10 headphones.

I've always been keen to recommend Crucial in the past when people wanted RAM with a lifetime warranty that works as expected. Not until a few years ago did Crucial start offering their Ballistix overclocking RAM. Fast forward to the new DDR3 days of today and we find a new Ballistix PC3-16000 kit that offers speeds of 2000MHz! You'll be pressed to find a board that can even handle this speed, I know I didn't have one.

We test two GeForce 8800 GT 512 cards as a mainstream solutions, taking on their old rival, the Radeon HD 3870 and NVIDIA's very own GeForce 9600 GT. Can the old dogs dominate in the new playground?

Palit's GeForce 9800 GTX follows the specifications of the NVIDIA reference design to the letter. Even then it is one of the fastest cards out there that you can buy, constantly delivering excellent FPS in games. Our sample allowed up to 16% additional overclocking on the GPU for a final clock speed of 784 MHz.

In-Win continues to make a name for themselves by releasing excellent cases like the Metal Suit GD. I was impressed by the build quality - every part of the case was solidly constructed; nothing about it felt "cheap". It packs in a lot of features like liquid cooling readiness, an internal VGA cooling system, and plenty of drive bays while maintaining a sleek, uncluttered look.

We mentioned the other day when we reviewed the BFG 9600GT OC2 that BFG had recently expanded its OC line-up with the addition of the OC2 and OCX models. While the 9600GT only goes to OC2, the 9800 GTX is the first model to make use of the OCX naming scheme. The OCX naming is the highest level of overclock from BFG; while the company has been a bit conservative with overclocks over the past year, they felt it's time to kick it up a notch and expand upon the popular OC naming scheme.

When the Eee PC was announced many people were excited for it, myself included. The thought of a small 7-inch laptop for under $400 would excite anyone! Now this is a budget notebook so you're not going to be playing games on it, but for most people they do 2 things on their computer, surf the web and word processing. Having a small notebook that can easily be carried and used for those functions for that price tag is pretty amazing. Now the notebook comes with Linux pre-installed, that might be a barrier for some people, but we will have to see how we like it. Read on to check out the ASUS Eee PC!

Last week, we took a look at the so-called "budget minded" Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 desktop processor. Okay, it may be slapped with the 'budget' tag, but it certainly isn't budget performance -- our benchmarks indicate that it performed on an average of 2-5% better than the previous generation's midrange E6600 CPU, yet retails for only roughly $140 -- not to mention that it overclocks very decently. Today, we'll examine something on the other end of the spectrum -- the second fastest consumer desktop processor offered by Intel. So far, the fastest as far as I'm concerned is the QX9770 on LGA775, but one down is another 'Extreme' model with an unlocked multiplier -- and that's the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 processor, with an impressive 12MB (2x6MB) L2 cache over four cores operating at 3.0GHz stock. If you're looking for something that spells 1337, pwn, omgwtfbbq, and whatever else you can describe it as, look no further than the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650. Plus you can sit back and relax to see how much it owns in the benchmarks. We won't waste anymore of your time.

VelociRaptor WD3000GLFS is the latest 10,000 rpm drive from Western Digital, with 300 GB capacity, SATA-300 interface and 16 MB buffer. The faster the hard disk drive spins, the higher performance is, as it can read data from the magnetic plates at a faster rate. We always wanted to review a 10,000 rpm unit to see how much faster it is compared to a mainstream 7,200 rpm unit. Also, since 10,000 rpm drives are far more expensive than 7,200 rpm units, we were curious to see what provides a higher performance, a single 10,000 rpm drive or two mainstream 7,200 rpm drives in RAID0 configuration.

ASUS has had many similar designs come and go. The last revision that came to mind was the Artic Square which was actually more round than square. The names don't really coincide with the shapes of these coolers, but then people don't buy them for their names. We buy them for their performance. While this isn't the first cylindrical CPU cooler released by ASUS, it has made a bigger difference in the battle against heat and does its job very well.

Aliph's New Jawbone Bluetooth headset delivers the highest sound quality in Bluetooth headset performance. The first-generation Jawbone and its speaker gave a fuller sound to its user than this second-generation version, but the difference in the New Jawbone?s size, style and comfort may outweigh what really is a minute sound difference. In any event, put the New Jawbone up against a competing device and Aliph's sound achievement will win ? we have no doubt.

German headphone maker Ultrasone's HFI-580s block out noise without plugging up your ear canals or using active cancellation circuitry. The S-Logic "natural surround" technology and radiation shielding may seem gimmicky, but these great-sounding cans give our trusty Sennheiser HD280 Pro's a serious run for their money. To our ears, they're best suited for applications where sonic accuracy is key; though we'd have virtually no qualms about recommending them for casual as well as critical listening.
