This is the first card we've seen from VVIKOO, and what a card it is. Expecting nothing more than a reference design I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to discover just how cool this 9600GT is. With the VVIKOO 9600GT in hand and its mammoth clocks, it's time to see how it fairs against the competition in this price bracket. The 8800GT sits slightly more expensive while the HD 3870 sits at around the same price.

Even though the GeForce 8800 GT has already been out for a while, it still has the punch to play all the latest games. The VVIKOO 8800 GT Max 1 GB comes with the Zalman VF1000 pre-installed and also features double the video memory. But is there any performance to be gained by going from 512 MB to 1024 MB of memory?

Well it's finally here, the 9 series of GPUs has hit the shelves and the reviews have already poured in thick and fast. I know we're a little behind everyone else on this one, but our 9600GT review is a bit different. Vvikoo's monstrous 9600, comes with a whopping Zalman heatsink and some hefty factory overclocking. Let's see what it's made of.

VVIKOO's GeForce 9600 GT Turbo brings many changes over the NVIDIA reference design. You can see one of the first DisplayPort implementations, an HDMI output, two DVIs and optical SPDIF-in. The card also features the Zalman VF-1000 cooler which makes sure the card stays cool at all times. Since the card runs cooler, the card comes overclocked straight from the factory.

While it's always exciting to receive review samples from the big boys in the hardware world, it's also nice to take a look at something a little different and this almost always comes from the little guys. Now, Vvikoo are manufacturers of some top end nVidia and ATI based GPU solutions, so using the word "little" is probably a little harsh, but they are definitely the new kid on the block and have a lot to prove. What I have with me today is an 8800GT, but not just any GT... oh no. This one has 1gb of DDR3, a huge aftermarket Zalman cooler, and it's purple.

Vvikoo are an up and coming GPU manufacturer based in Paris, France. This makes a change from the usual dominance of the Eastern and Western companies; these guys aren't too far from home. We recently reviewed their 8600GT which turned out very well indeed. Today however, we will be looking at something from the other camp, the 2600 Pro.

Vvikoo is a relatively young company by GPU manufacturer standards. Founded in February this year you might think it's coming a little late to the game. However, it has some converted heavy hitters from aBit behind it and an extensive list of investors. The first GPU they have sent for us to take a look at is their 8600GT Turbo. These cards from other companies have done well under XSR scrutiny, let's see how this one fares.

VVIKOO is a new videocard manufacturer based in Paris offering both NVIDIA and ATI cards. One of their first products is the GeForce 8600 GT Turbo, which is an overclocked version of NVIDIA's 8600 GT. The card comes equipped with a quiet Zalman cooler and offers great overclocking potential. In our testing we could increase the clocks by more than 40% over NVIDIA's reference clocks.
