The Thermalright IFX-14 uses eight heatpipes to move heat from the base plate to the cooling fins, and these pipes are larger and more numerous than on many of the other big coolers on the market. Overall it is larger than any other cooler I have had a chance to use, including some titans like the Tuniq Tower 120 and Zalman CNPS 9700, which we will see compared side-by-side in this review.

Thermalright is now set to further capitalize on the success of the Ultra-120 eXtreme with the release the TRue Black 120. While physically identical to the Ultra-120 eXtreme, other than the new black nickel finish, the TRue Black comes with another set of clips to attach a second fan in a push/pull configuration and Thermalright has thrown in a small tube of their improved thermal compound, Chill Factor 2.

We continue reviewing advanced cooling systems. Today we shall examine two High-End coolers from Thermalright: Ultra-120 eXtreme and Ultima-90. In fact, both products are hardly the latest offers. Rolled out long ago, they had enough time to earn users' respect.

Thermalright is a company with a long history in the enthusiast PC market and they have created some of the best, hardcore CPU coolers over the last decade. Today we will have a look at two of their greatest CPU coolers, the Ultra-120 eXtreme and the IFX-14. The Ultra-120 eXtreme is an updated version of the extremely successful Ultra-120, while the IFX-14 has quickly became famous because of the monstrous size.

Thermalright added two extra heatpipes to their successfully Ultra-120 CPU heatsink, in order to further improve performance on the high end scale. We compare this CPU cooling beast to the best out there to see what it can offer eXtra.

CPU coolers keep growing in size, this monster from Thermalright is proof of that. The Inferno Fire eXtinguisher is a heatsink large enough to accommodate up to three 140mm fans! Furthermore it comes with a separate smaller heatsink which sole purpose is to keep the backside of the CPU socket cool. Will this powerhouse CPU cooler grab first spot in our performance charts? Time to find out!

The Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme heatsink is a continuation of the Ultra-120 series, only with a little more muscle and a couple extra heatpipes. It's predecessor has remained at the top of Frostytech thermal test results for both AMD and Intel platforms basically since we tested it, so we're especially interested to see how the Ultra-120 Extreme model handles. Like the Ultra-120 that came before it, the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme applies fairly simple concepts to yield a well performing tower heatsink that doesn't have to generate much noise to get the job done.

Thermalright always puts out top quality products that offer computer enthusiasts a significant upgrade over stock cooling hardware. The Ultima-90 Heatpipe CPU Cooler is without a doubt an excellent choice for your hot processor due to its cooling capabilities, relatively simple installation, compact design, and support for most modern CPUs.

In this review, we take a look at a CPU cooler from Thermalright. Thermalright is often associated with high end coolers. However, in this review we're not having a look at one of their top coolers, but instead a smaller version, which is aimed at the people who needs a good and quiet cooler without having over 500 grams of metal screwed to the motherboard. The cooler we're reviewing is the Thermalright Ultima-90l. Packaging: Thermalright Ultima-90l is, like all other Thermalright products, delivered in a very neutral package, which only has the model number printed on the box.

If you don't have enough room to support their Ultra-120, Thermalright has introduce a new cooler for the space challenged called the Ultima-90. The Ultima-90 looks a lot like the Ultra-120 Extreme but in a smaller package. And that is just what it is. Some may be quick to rush to the conclusion that a smaller heatsink would lead to a large decrease in cooling performance. But the guys at Thermalright say different. We are going to take it around the block to see for ourselves.

Ever finding ways to stick more pipes on smaller surfaces, Thermalright has presented us with it's new Ultima-90I tower cooler. Featuring two more heatpipes then it's big daddy the Ultra-120 and a compact physique, the Ultima may just be what enthusiasts are asking for in a high quality and performance cooler that doesn't require it's own zip code.

Thermalright has basically taken the Ultra-120 Extreme and given it to us in a smaller scale with the Ultima-90. By using a 90mm body, space should not be an issue in most cases aside from perhaps SFF PC's. The Ultima-90 actually surpassed my expectations and it's quite obvious the 6 heatpipes make a huge difference in transferring the heat from the processor.

Thermalright has combined the wrap-around design of the original V1 cooler with their through-hole technology from the HR series and produced the HR-03 VGA cooler. There are several versions of this cooler, the HR-03 GT represents the latest edition, compatible with the newest nVidia G92 (8800 GT/GTS) and ATI RV670 (HD38x0) cards.

While your CPU is underneath what looks like a chuck of metal scavenged from a battleship hull, your chipset is often left with either a simple extruded aluminium number or hidden with a spider chain of heatsinks and heatpipes. If your motherboard has the former, and you're looking for a bit more overclocking headroom, you'll need to search for an upgrade. There are several solutions, but today I have Thermalright's HR-05. Let see how it performs.

Frankly, I was skeptical of this product's usefulness when it first arrived here in the lab, and I expected it to have very little, if any, impact on cooling. I was wrong. The HR-11 has proven its worth by lowering both GPU and case temperatures without adding any noise to the system.
