Utilizing both USB 2.0 and eSATA (as well as an internal SATA option) makes the Tagan Icy Box IB-266StUSD-B 2.5" Drive Enclosure ultra portable and future proof. eSATA is quickly becoming available on many systems, and will become more widely available in time. Including a USB 2.0 interface ensures it is compatible with today?s typical systems.

While Tagan is not a center point with consumers for power supplies here in the United States when compared to Antec or SilverStone, they are working on improving their presence. The Tagan power supply that had caught our attention was the TurboJet TG1100-U95. This power supply provides 1100W of power and is geared for MultiGPU and multi-core systems. The Wattage may be high, but so is its price tag at $399 USD.

With this goal in mind, Tagan has come up with a power supply that they claim gives not only a huge amount of power across all rails, but does so with very little noise. If they can pull this off, they will have come up with a product that satisfies a variety of niche users with large power demands. So relax for a bit as we delve a bit deeper into the latest high-end offering from Tagan. 1100 watts is certainly nothing to scoff at, but we will want to take a closer look at the levels across the different rails and see if it can handle the rigors of an enthusiast rig. After all, this will be the primary market segment interested in this item.
