If you own a netbook or laptop computer you know just how bad the
speakers can be on those devices and that is why BGears has
introduced the ViBRO Sound System. Using a single speaker element
they are able to create audio that will far surpass the audio you
currently hear, and all it needs is a USB connection.

Bgears is a relatively new company that is creating some cool items that are being aimed at specialist areas of the PC market. An example of this is the HTPC enclosure being looked at today, the b-Envi. We plan on seeing if Bgears can come up with something that is different from the crowd, but at the same time we will check out the feature set to see if it is worthy of our hard-earned dollars. The first thing you notice about the b-Envi is the small stature. While this isn't uncommon in an HTPC case, most manufacturers have gone the route of making the box look like a piece of stereo equipment. Bgears has turned a different direction and have opted for an appearance like the old SFF cases, which actually had enough room inside to do something with.

When I first looked at the b-Envi enclosure, I thought the front panel controls were either hidden or on the side of the bezel. Boy, was I surprised when I flipped through the manual and found out they were touch sensitive; I couldn't wait to try them out. The buttons work great, and there is even a little beep every time you push them.

Bgears has burst onto the case modder/enthusiast scene with some pretty innovative products. With the new b-Envi Small Form Factor (SFF) case, Bgears tosses its hat into the ring and wants to spar with the other manufacturers in a crowded case market for the SFF crowd. Does this case have what it takes to make your friends b-Envious? I think you will find this to be a special case in many ways, so... step on through and learn about one of the best kept secrets in town!

At first glance the new b-Envi from BGear looks to be just your plain and average SFF case. But once this puppy is lit up the controls are out of this world. The touch sensitive control are something that no other case had before, but after the introduction of the b-Envi that could change. Besides touch sensitive controls, the b-Envi also has a removable motherboard tray that will aid greatly in the building process. Yeah, there are a few more things the b-Envi has to offer but you have to read the rest of the article.

Today we are examining the B-Gear/B-Tarantula 550 Watt Power Supply. This particular power supply has a number of nice features ranging from its modular design down to the beautifully wrapped modular connectors. We will be testing this black beauty to see if it is as dangerous as it looks or perhaps it may turn out to be an "itsy bitsy spider".

If you are not familiar with the BGear name, their newest product maybe the one to get them noticed. The newly released b- Tarantula power supply is it. The b-Tarantula is a modular unit with some unique cable extensions and also boasts a large 135mm cooling fan. We will talk more about the cable extensions later but another thing to know is that the unit comes a 550 and 650 watt models. Not everyone needs crazy amount of power but is the b-Tarantula deserving to be placed in your rig? Lets see.

The outward appearance is pretty decent and quite clean. b-Gears put a bit of focus on this new power supply line that's nice to see, especially for a final revision. Not much can really be improved upon a PSU that is a bit more budget oriented. You might find the cabling idea a little too unique at first, but it'll surprise you just how handy it can be redirecting the modular cables for easier connecting. Users with a more compact computer case will like how much easier it is to maneuver the wiring. If there's a weakness in the b-Gears 650 Watt b-Tarantula power supply, I couldn't find it. If you want to save some cash and don't need that over rated "Giga watt" power supply, this is an excellent, new choice that's well balanced and worth the price.
